Karen I. Dacey, M.D. obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Uniformed Services University for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and trained in ophthalmology at the Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, a joint program between Ft. Sam Houston and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. She served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Dacey has been practicing general ophthalmology in the Lehigh Valley since 2011. She offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for a wide range of ophthalmic conditions including refractive error, dry eyes, cataract, glaucoma and diabetes. She specializes in cataract surgery using advanced medical and surgical techniques. She performs surgery at the Center for Specialized Surgery and is a member of the active staff at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. She is Clinical Assistant Professor (Adjunct) of Ophthalmology at Temple University School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology and lectures to undergraduate medical students on ophthalmology.

Patricia J. Domyan obtained her Master’s in Nursing at DeSales University, Center Valley, PA. She has national board certifications in both family practice and ophthalmology. She is a veteran of the US Army serving as an Operating Room Technician.
Ms. Domyan has worked in ophthalmology since 1985, first as a registered nurse surgical assistant, then as an ophthalmic registered nurse, and has been treating her own patients since 2005. She treats a spectrum of acute and chronic eye conditions including macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetes and has a special interest in corneal conditions and dry eyes. She is certified in fitting soft, gas permeable, and specialty contact lenses.
