We are seeking a motivated and personable technician to join our professional staff.
Job responsibilities include:
• Make introductions and establish rapport with patients. Document medical and ocular history, chief complaint, medications, and allergies.
• Perform pre-exam testing to include visual acuity, refraction, lensometry, pupil and angle anterior angle exam, applanation tonometry, and other tests as requested by physician.
• Perform specialized testing such as visual fields, optical biometry, fundus photos and optical coherence tomography
Job requirements:
• COA or COT is desired, however, will consider candidate with one year of specialized ophthalmic experience, with COA achieved within one year.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills as well as a neat and professional appearance
• Proficiency with keyboarding and basic office software (Microsoft Word, etc.)
